The last time I saw these two was a foggy early morning at the Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford, ME for their engagement session back in June! It was the only time they were going to be home before their wedding as they were traveling from Colorado (side note: I may have tried to convince Emily & Chris to get married in Colorado so I could have an excuse to visit those gorgeous mountains!). To be honest I’m not sure any of us were really on point that morning as we walked all over the property and got to know each other but I’m so happy we did take the time to meet before their wedding because it always makes for a sweet reunion once we see each other again on the wedding day!
When I arrived to see Emily I was greeted by 9 beautiful ladies dressed in leggings and comfy flannel shirts (Umm… Jealous!! That’s pretty much my every day attire on any given day besides for a wedding day!). After visiting with both Emily & Chris it was time for the ceremony which was set up beautifully with all of their loved ones surrounding them closely! We followed the ceremony with portraits and I was able to get them to a second location and put them on a ski lift on the mountain! The scenery was just soo beautiful there so I kept them on the mountain for the next 10-15 minutes capturing as many portraits as possible before letting them go visit during the cocktail hour before the reception!
I could go on and on about Emily & Chris’s day.. But I think these moments captured speak for themselves 🙂 Enjoy some of our favorites!
Congratulations Emily & Chris! I had the best time documenting your wedding – it was such an honor to capture this amazing day for you!
